Graham Sharpe Architect and Project Manager

Our Expertise

the gs consultancy - Our Expertise...

The Graham Sharpe Consultancy offers architect and project management services in relation to significant projects throughout the UK.

With over 30 years of experience working with historic buildings, specialist skills are provided to owners of heritage property, especially where there is a need to devise ideas for re-use and regeneration. A network of skilled specialists can be drawn in to assist with conservation and preservation.

However, the consultancy also provides professional services to owners of contemporary buildings that require alteration, extension or refurbishment. In particular, the consultancy is working with a number of private clients in relation to their own homes.

Feasibility work can provide reassurance to clients that their ideas for a building or a site are viable and achievable, allowing discussions to take place with planning authorities, Historic England and other interested parties. The consultancy is able to devise strategic plans to enable clients to plan and budget for projects over a number of years, and to assist with their prioritisation.

Common to all is the desire to resolve issues ‘up front’ so that work can proceed smoothly, whether at the early stages or on site, with minimal risk to the client.

kind words...

“I met Graham eight years ago shortly after he was ‘lent’ to us from the Royal Household to support the team through a multi-million pound re-servicing and decoration project. During the project, he provided us all with support, guidance and leadership in a friendly manner that was key to the success of the project. His contribution was important then and is still relevant today. Since the project was completed, Graham has continued to provide us with advice and it is always reassuring to know that he is only a ‘phone call away.”
Richard Jordan-Baker, Director of Estates, Broadlands
